It doesn’t sound so hard.
- Find a product or service
- Sell it on the Internet
After staying up many, many nights evaluating products to sell, programs to market, websites, SEO, affiliate programs, pay-per-click, you tube videos, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Adsense, blogs, ezines, hub pages, squidoo lenses and Internet marketing gurus, I have gone past information overload into complete and utter brain freeze then back into some sort of Vulcan mind-meld state with my new Facebook friends.
It’s 3:33 AM and I’ve been up researching creating multiple streams of income through online marketing for about 48 hours… The weird thing is I want to keep doing it. I am now an Internet addict.
Like most addicts though, I haven’t been alone during this time. My new marketing comrades are up at all hours and since they are literally spread all over the globe, there is always someone interesting to chat with or e-mail or at the very least, a rockstar webinar on the best-thing-since-google to watch at 5AM EDT which I now know is normal working time in London.
But, it’s paid off… I’ve met some great people, learned about some good products and programs, picked up every FREE piece of information anyone was offering and I’m finally ready to get started gently walking into deep waters of Internet marketing.
I have one piece of advice for anyone ready to make the transition into building a home-based business through Internet marketing:
Don’t spend any money for 30 days!
Don’t buy any products, don’t pay for any e-books, don’t subscribe to anything for the first 30 days you are getting started unless it is FREE. If you don’t thoroughly reseach every twist and turn you could end up spending your last dime on an ebook before you ever have something to sell to generate income for yourself. You are starting your home-based business to make your life better not to send you to the poorhouse.

Let’s collaborate and take a solemn vow never be in caged in an office, stuck in rush hour traffic burning up $4.00 per gallon gas and getting up early on Sunday to take in the drycleaning just to get 10% off on the Sunday to Sunday special again!
